Pythons Athletic Program Overview:

  • We compete in the highly competitive Public School Athletic League (PSAL) in New York City. As a campus program, our ten teams are comprised of coaches and student-athletes from Community School for Social Justice and Health Opportunities HS.

  • Our boys & girls basketball teams practice and host games at the world famous Gauchos Gym, just steps from our school building.

  • Our baseball and softball teams practice and host games in beautiful Macombs Dam Park, just a ten-minute walk from our school building and the site of the original Yankee Stadium.

  • Our Girls Indoor/Outdoor Track and Cross Country team compete in Van Courtland Park, The Armory in Washington Heights, as well as various schools and tracks around New York City.

  • Our boy's soccer, co-ed stunt, and girls volleyball teams all compete in schools and parks throughout the five boroughs, although primarily in the Bronx.

  • The PSAL website has a slew of resources including game schedules and individual player & team statistics. Our school page can be found here: http://www.psal.org/profiles/school-profile.aspx#07498 .
